From 1920 till today.
L’Auberson in the Canton of Vaud, a locality situated in the heart of Jura forests, always kept strong ties with wood and sought its valorisation. It is in this place that the history of the workshop begins.

Creation of the "objects of meditation" range.

Creation of the Butterfly music box.
Development of an original and innovative opening system.

Creation of the Piaget sound box and its watch holder.

Acquisition of a CNC machining center.

Commercial vocational diploma.
First Certificate in English.

1995
Certificate in interior design. M. J. Dubois School.
1994
Etienne Jaques joins the family business and learns from his father the art of making music boxes.
He pursues his father’s vision and stretches the experimental field from the music box to the design of precious objects.
1989
Etienne Jaques, 3rd generation, starts his training as a cabinetmaker at the Ecole des Métiers in Lausanne.
1960
Construction of the building in which the activities are still unfolding today.
Start of the cooperation with the prestigious Reuge Manufacture.
1950
André Jaques, cabinetmaker, 2nd generation, creates the cabinetmaking workshop and remains active until 2005.
1920
Félix Jaques, 1st generation, feathers, assembles and tunes music box mechanisms at home .
