The heart of a music box is a mechanical movement whose sound is produced by a set of steel teeth, one end of which is firmly held, and the other, which remains free, is mechanically vibrated.
There are three different sizes of movements, which are defined by the number of keys of which they are composed, and the number of tunes that they play.
Raya and l'Auberson music boxes are available in three versions allowing everyone to make their dream of possessing one come true.

This solid walnut box has been crafted in our cabinet-making workshop for nearly 60 years. Its classical lines make it a timeless piece, the musical qualities of which derive both from our assembling technique and from the resonance of the wood. In the sixties, one client who was buying many of them even wanted to build an airfield nearby to allow himself to pick them up more easily ! Such was the way before the digital revolution… Precisely, treat yourself to this wonderful non-virtual object, which runs without eclectic power. Its very Zen finish is the result of lightly blown lacquer.

RAYA
